An end-to-end warehouse management system built to track and manage over 10,000 SKUs across multiple locations, with real-time stock control, shelving optimisation and integrated multi-carrier shipping. Deployed on Microsoft Azure using Docker.

A complete Warehouse Inventory Management System (WMS) designed to run the day to day operations of a busy warehouse managing more than 10,000 SKUs across multiple locations.

The challenge

The client needed to replace slow, error-prone manual processes with a single system that could track stock in real time, speed up order picking, and connect directly with shipping carriers.

What I built

  • Real-time stock tracking across multiple warehouse locations
  • Shelving and bin optimisation that reduced picking time by 35 percent
  • A full order fulfilment workflow from picking to dispatch
  • Integration with carrier APIs handling 500 plus daily shipments with live status tracking
  • Role based access control and secure user management

Technologies

Built with ASP.NET Core and SQL Server, containerised with Docker and deployed on Microsoft Azure for reliability and scale.

Result

Faster order fulfilment, fewer stock errors, and a single reliable system that improved overall warehouse efficiency.
