About the Merge PDF
Combines several PDFs into one file, in the order you arrange them. Files that are only owner-password protected still merge. Everything happens in your browser, so confidential documents stay on your device.
How to merge PDF files
Add the PDFs you want to combine, put them in the right order with the arrows, and download the merged file. Pages keep their original size and orientation, so a landscape chart stays landscape between portrait pages. Nothing is uploaded: the files are joined in your browser, which also makes it safe for contracts, bank statements and anything else private.
Tips for a clean merged PDF
- Name files with a number first (01-cover.pdf, 02-report.pdf) and they arrive in order.
- Need only some pages from a file? Split it first, then merge the parts.
- Want to reorder or delete individual pages afterwards? Use Organize PDF.
- Merged file too large to email? Run it through Compress PDF.
Merging scans and photos
Phone photos of documents are images, not PDFs. Turn them into a PDF with JPG to PDF first, then merge that with your other files. If you need the text in a scan to be searchable, run the result through OCR PDF.
