What it costs, on the page

Outside India

The rupee prices above are for Indian clients. International work is quoted in pounds or euros as a fixed price against a written scope, with invoicing that suits a UK or EU accountant. There are live projects in the UK, so this is a normal arrangement rather than a new one.

Pricing questions, answered

Are these the real prices, or a starting point for negotiation?
They are real. The number on this page is what a project of that shape costs. What changes a quote is scope - more pages, online payments, a booking system, content that needs writing - and every one of those is itemised before you agree to anything. There is no separate price for people who look like they can afford more.
What is not included?
Domain and hosting fees are paid to the provider, not to me - typically ₹1,000-3,000 a year for a normal business site, and bought in your name. Paid advertising spend, stock photography licences and third-party subscriptions are also yours directly. Nothing gets marked up through me.
Do I have to pay everything upfront?
No. Typically half to start and half on completion, before the site goes live. For larger custom projects it is split across agreed milestones. There is no charge for the first conversation or for the quote.
What if I need changes after launch?
Every package includes rounds of changes during the build. After launch, small edits are usually quick and free; anything substantial is quoted first so there are no surprise invoices. Maintenance at ₹1,500 a month covers ongoing changes if you would rather not think about it each time.
Who owns the website?
You do - the code, the content, the domain and the hosting account. This matters more than most people realise when hiring: plenty of cheap builds leave you unable to move because the developer holds the domain. Ask anyone you are considering this question, not just me.
Why is this cheaper than an agency quote?
Because there is no agency. You are talking to the person writing the code, so you are not paying for a sales team, an account manager or an office. The trade-off is honest: I take on fewer projects at once, so availability is finite.
Do you work with businesses outside India?
Yes. There are live projects in the UK, and international work is quoted in pounds or euros against a written scope - with invoicing that suits an EU or UK accountant. The UK and Europe pages cover how that works.
What if my project does not fit any of these?
Most interesting ones do not. Send me what you are trying to do and I will tell you what it needs, what it costs, and - genuinely - if you do not need me at all. I have talked people out of custom builds more than once.

Still not sure what you need?

Tell me what your business does and what you want the website to achieve. You get a straight recommendation and an itemised quote, and there is no charge for the conversation that works out what you actually need.
