Invoicing your accountant will accept
Invoiced in euros or pounds, with the details EU bookkeeping needs. As a supplier outside the EU, the reverse-charge rule applies for VAT-registered businesses - your accountant handles it the same way as any other non-EU service.
GDPR is designed in, not bolted on
Consent before any analytics or third-party script loads, EU or UK hosting when data residency matters, no tracking pixels you did not ask for, and a data-processing agreement if you need one on file.
Accessibility comes as standard
The European Accessibility Act has been in force since June 2025. Sites I build target WCAG 2.2 Level AA as they are built - contrast, keyboard navigation, real form labels and visible focus states - rather than as a retrofit under a deadline.

Accessibility Act compliance
An audit against WCAG 2.2 AA, ordered by severity and by how many pages each issue touches, then the remediation. The deadline for services that existed before June 2025 is June 2030, and the work is not a switch you flip.
A GDPR-clean rebuild
Consent before any script that needs it, EU hosting where residency matters, and no third-party pixel arriving uninvited. Built in rather than bolted on after a review.
Multi-language and multi-market sites
One site serving several countries, with the URL structure and hreflang set up so each market can rank on its own rather than cannibalising the others.

How engagements are priced
Fixed price against a written scope, in euros, with the scope agreed before anything is invoiced. That suits how most European finance teams want to raise a purchase order, and it means the number on the quote is the number on the invoice.
Larger pieces of work are split across milestones you sign off, so nothing is paid for before it exists. For compliance work the audit is deliberately separate from the remediation — you can take the report, hand it to your own developers, and never come back.

- Does the European Accessibility Act apply to my business?
- If you have fewer than 10 employees and under €2 million turnover, services are exempt. Otherwise, if you sell online or provide banking, transport, telecom, e-books or ticketing, it applies - including if you sell into the EU from outside it. Send me your URL and I will tell you honestly whether you are exempt.
- How does invoicing work from outside the EU?

- Which countries do you work with?
- The Netherlands, Ireland, the UK, Germany and Belgium most often, and anywhere else in the EU on the same terms. Everything runs in English, and you deal with the person writing the code rather than an account manager.
- Why is your rate lower than a local agency?
- Because I am based in India, and because there is no agency overhead - no sales team, no account manager, no office. That is a difference in cost of living and structure, not in care. Every project is a fixed price against a written scope, so there are no hourly surprises either way.
