Turns every page of a PDF into a JPG image, with a preview of each one and a ZIP of the lot. Resolution runs from 72 to roughly 288 DPI: the lower end suits a web preview, the higher end suits printing or pulling a figure out of a paper. Pages are drawn on a white background, because JPG has no transparency.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the pdf to jpg.

Which resolution should I pick?+

72 to 144 DPI is plenty for anything shown on a screen. Go to 216 or 288 DPI when the image will be printed or zoomed into - at the cost of a much larger file and a slower conversion.

Can I save just one page?+

Yes. Every page gets its own Save link under its preview, next to the ZIP button that takes all of them at once.

Why is my text slightly soft?+

A JPG is a picture of the page, so text becomes pixels. Raise the resolution for crisper edges, or raise the quality slider if you can see blocky artefacts around letters.
