01Summary
A fast, mobile-first website for a multispecialty clinic in Sector 57, Gurgaon, covering ENT, dental, cosmetology and audiology. Each specialty has its own page, doctors have full profiles, and online booking and WhatsApp consultation sit on every page — so someone searching late at night can find the right specialist and book in a few taps.
- Online booking, any hour
- WhatsApp consultation
- Built for local search

02The Problem
A local clinic's website competes on two things at once — being found, and being booked:
One page for four specialties cannot rank for what people actually search for.
People decide to book at night, long after reception has closed.
Many patients would rather message on WhatsApp than fill in a form or call.
Local visitors look for timings, location and directions first — and leave if they cannot find them.
Local healthcare search happens on phones, often on mobile data, where a slow site loses the visit.
03My Role & Scope
Design and development of the full site, from specialty pages to booking.
- Specialty pagesENT, dental, cosmetology and audiology each on their own page, written around what patients search for.
- Doctor profilesQualifications and specialisms for each doctor, so a patient can trust who they are booking.
- Appointment bookingOnline booking available at any hour, on every page.
- WhatsApp consultationA first-class route alongside booking, for patients who prefer to message.
- Local SEOStructured data, clean metadata per page and content written around the area and the specialties.
- Performance & accessibilityServer-rendered pages, right-sized modern images, real headings and labelled form fields.
04Architecture
Next.js with React and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS; images served in modern formats at the size the layout uses, built against Core Web Vitals from the start.

06Engineering challenges & how I solved them
The decisions that shaped the site, and why they were made.
Designing for one path, not an impressive homepage+
Symptom: A clinic site that looks good but hides booking behind a contact link loses the patient who is ready to book now.
Investigation: The real visitor is someone in pain late at night on a phone — they need the specialty, a reason to trust the doctor, and a way to book.
Fix: Arranged every page around that one path, with booking and WhatsApp on every page rather than behind a contact link.
Ranking for four specialties at once+
Fix: Gave each specialty its own page, written around what people actually search for, with structured data and metadata per page.
Speed on a mid-range phone on mobile data+
Fix: Server-rendered and statically generated pages, and images served in modern formats at the size the layout uses instead of scaled-down originals.
A booking form older patients can use+
Fix: Accessible markup throughout — real headings, labelled fields and visible focus — so the form works for older patients and keyboard users.
