01Summary
A marketing website for an exhibition stall design, booth fabrication and event management business, rebuilt from scratch on Next.js 15 to compete with the established names in the sector. City landing pages and a trade show calendar do the search work, services have real depth, and a lead form sits beside the hero for buyers comparing contractors on a deadline.
- City landing pages
- Trade show calendar
- Lead form beside the hero

02The Problem
The business had to compete with established names in a sector where:
Clients search for a stall designer in the city their show is in — not where the contractor is registered.
Half the demand is people searching for a specific exhibition by name and date.
Buyers compare three contractors on a deadline, and the easiest to contact wins the call.
The work is visual, so the site has to present photography without competing with it.
A template site cannot match the references' service depth and premium look.
03My Role & Scope
Design and development from scratch, from search strategy to the lead form.
- City landing pagesPages for the cities where shows happen, matching how clients search.
- Trade show calendarAnswers searches for specific exhibitions by name and date.
- Services with depthReal service content rather than a paragraph each, plus work and portfolio sections.
- Dark premium designThe high-contrast look the brief asked for, built with Tailwind v4.
- Hero lead formEnquiry form beside the hero rather than buried on a contact page.
- Build from scratchNext.js 15, React 19, TypeScript and Motion — no template.
04Architecture
Next.js 15 App Router with React 19 and TypeScript; Tailwind CSS v4 for the dark look and Motion for hero and section reveals.

05Key Features
What the site does to win enquiries.
- City landing pagesRank where the show is, not where the contractor is registered.
- Trade show calendarEarns the enquiry from people searching for an event by name and date.
- Deep service pagesReal depth on each service, modelled on the sector's best references.
- Work & portfolioSections that put the photography first.
- Lead form by the heroThe quickest possible route to an enquiry.
- Dark, high-contrast lookThe premium style the brief asked for.
- Fully indexableServer-rendered HTML on every content page.
- Purposeful motionAnimation on the hero and section reveals only.
06Engineering challenges & how I solved them
The decisions that shaped the site, and why.
Search demand is for places and events, not companies+
Symptom: Few people search for the contractor by name.
Investigation: Most of the sector's demand is for a stall designer in a city, or for a specific exhibition by name and date.
Fix: Built two sections around that demand — city pages and a trade show calendar — as the site's main search assets.
Every page had to be indexable+
Fix: Next.js 15 App Router with server rendering, so content pages arrive as HTML — for a site whose whole job is search visibility, that is the whole argument.
Motion that serves the work+
Fix: Motion used on the hero and section reveals rather than everywhere, so animation points at the photography instead of competing with it.
Winning a buyer comparing three contractors+
Fix: A lead form beside the hero rather than on a contact page, because the contractor who is easiest to contact wins the call.
