CSV parsed properly
Splitting a line on commas breaks the moment a field contains one - an address, a company name, a sentence. This converter follows the CSV standard (RFC 4180): fields in double quotes can hold commas, line breaks and escaped quotes (""), and Windows and Unix line endings both work. Semicolon, tab and pipe delimiters are detected automatically, which matters for CSV exported by European versions of Excel.
Numbers, booleans - and leading zeros
With type detection on, columns that contain only numbers become JSON numbers and true/false columns become booleans. Values with a leading zero - ZIP codes like 02134, phone numbers, product codes - stay as text, because turning them into numbers silently drops the zero. The preview shows the type detected for every column before you convert.
Which JSON shape?
Array of objects uses the header row as keys and is what most APIs and JavaScript code expect. Array of arrays keeps it compact, header first. NDJSON puts one object per line, for streaming tools, BigQuery and log pipelines. There is also a Markdown table option for documentation.
